A driver somehow flipped his car on VFW Parkway inbound in West Roxbury just before the intersection with Centre Street around 10:30 a.m. He was able to get out of what was left of his vehicle and declined medical attention.

I passed the accident right after it happened, before the emergency responders got there. There were people stopped on the outbound side and a homeowner outside so I knew it had been called in.
Parts of the car were strewn around before the car came to rest and it looked like he hit a hydrant on the median before flipping over. I saw the driver and given how the car landed, it was amazing he got out. Luckily it didn't look like any other vehicle was involved.
I am so tired of speeders endangering all of us.

I disagree. After years of dodging speed and red light cameras,
I was in Drivers Education for the Nth time and calculated that
If I left just 5 minutes earlier, I wouldn't have to dash thru traffic
to arrive by some artificial deadline and have to put up with all
the fines and bureaucratic punishment.
Now, if I can't leave those 5 minutes early, I accept that I will be a few minutes late and can deal with the consequences easily.
SO - how can we get that message out to all of my procrastinating friends?

This section of VFW has been made much more unsafe now with the lane reductions. No surprise someone got hurt. Praying they are safe.

While speeding on the VFW is definitely a thing, the most dangerous maneuvers there are idiots trying to get around idiots
There are also a lot of people who go below the limit and sit in the left lane like they are the "speed police". People do stupid things trying to get around these people. So rather than try to force people to slow down. Move over and let them go rather than force them to do super dangerous maneuvers to get around ya.
Sometimes it's just penny wide, pound foolish to try and slow them down.
