State Police report they were forced to shut I-195 eastbound in Fairhaven tonight after "multiple cows" mooved onto the roadway. State Police report the 12 bossy bovines were quickly rounded up. and the road re-opened. State Police did not specify where the cows came from or what they wanted.
A not offended citizen filed a 311 complaint about "a massive cock," of the rubber sort, suction-cupped to a traffic sign at H and Emerson streets in South Boston this afternoon, along with a photo showing "Happy New Year!" written on one side of the shaft. Despite complaints last month, the tire-eating pothole between Franklin Hill Avenue and Canterbury Street on the way towards Roslindale remains unfilled. Yesterday, Boston Police reported at least six cars with freshly flattened tires caused by this gaping maw.
