The driver of a box truck proved no match for the Fenway overpasses on Storrow Drive this morning. Josh happened to be right there to catch all the peeled-back, tipped-over glory for what is clearly the best storrowing of this still young month. Read more.

Overturned car on Seaver Street

Live Boston reports somebody flipped their car on Seaver Street at Elm Hill Avenue around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, extricated himself, then ran away.

Tractor trailer stuck at E. 2nd and M streets in South Boston

Eileen Murphy reports the driver of a tractor trailer somehow wound up on East 2nd Street last night, where he clipped a park car and then basically wrapped the trailer around a hydrant as he tried to make the 90-degree turn onto M Street. Read more.

Boston EMS Incidents reports the crash happened shortly after 5:30 p.m. at A Street and Broadway. Live Boston reports the fatal-crash reconstruction team and the homicide unit were called in due to the severity of the victim's injuries.

For the second day in a row, a truck driver has discovered first hand why Storrow Drive entrances have those cute little "CARS ONLY" signs, jamming his vehicle under the outbound side of the train bridge by the BU bridge shortly after 11 a.m. Unlike yesterday's majestic 18-wheeler at Mass. Ave., this is just some trifling box truck from what appears to be a local beer distributor. And it doesn't even appear that the roof of the box has been peeled back.

Wedged and storrowed tractor trailer on Storrow Drive

Sage was among the drivers who had plenty of time to appreciate the sheer majesty of the way the driver of an 18-wheeler managed to a) get on Storrow Drive inbound and b) jam his rig right into the underside of the Mass. Ave. Bridge shortly after 3:30 p.m.

Expensive parking price in the Seaport: $14,235 for two hours

Gary, of Gary's Liquors in West Roxbury, ventured out of his leafy bubble last night and drove down to the Seaport to enjoy a meal at Lola 42. Two hours later, he walked over to the Fan Pier Garage, put his ticket into the machine and was informed he owed $14,235 - which he could pay in cash. Read more.

New bike lane on Tremont Street along Boston Common

The Boston Transportation Department reports crews created a new pop-up bicycle lane on Tremont Street along the Common this evening as part of the city's Healthy Streets program.

Storrowed truck in Wellesley

Wellesley Police report that Bacon Street is closed between Rte. 135 and Oak Street in Natick this morning thanks to the driver of a big rig who discovered too late his rig was too big for the Worcester Line train bridge. Crews and engineers are now on scene trying to remove the carcass and ensure the bridge is still structurally sound.

There's probably a good reason a driver heading south on Morrissey Boulevard this afternoon missed the warning siren, the flashing lights and the gate and plowed right off the road and into the bridge. Or as MassDOT put it so delicately: Read more.

Hyde Park Avenue at Eldridge Road

A concerned citizen files a 311 complaint about the crosswalk on Hyde Park Avenue at Eldridge Road in Jamaica Plain:

Every time a person crosses the street you get trapped in the middle of Hyde Park Ave terrified you're going to get run over. Vehicles do NOT stop for pedestrians. Please do something to force vehicles to stop for pedestrians before someone gets hurt.

Live Boston reports that after the driver of a pickup truck sped away from an attempted traffic stop near BPD headquarters early this morning, officers pursuing him were told to stop chasing him, but the guy just kept going - until he apparently rolled over the pickup at MLK Boulevard and Warren Street, crashing into a traffic pole as the pickup burst into flames.
