An Avon man who showed a gun to another motorist as they hurtled down the outbound Expressway this morning now faces a variety of charges, State Police say - adding they are still considering whether to charge the other driver, a Boston man, because they say he flashed a knife during the rolling incident. Around 8:40 p.m., a concerned citizen filed a 311 complaint that the light pole in front of the Wolcott Square gas station in Readville's Wolcott Square was either knocked over or fell over tonight - less than a week after it was knocked over and then replaced.

Exposed LIVE arching wires. Someone is going to get electrocuted.

WBZ reports on the crash at Bennington and Vienna streets around 5:30 a.m. Both were taken to the hospital - the woman with physical injuries not considered life threatening, the trooper with emotional distress.

Wolcott Square missing some traffic lights

That woman on the right with the dog who seems to be waving? What she was actually doing this afternoon, roving UHub reporter Jesse de Mello explains, was trying to do a bit of traffic directing as she stood next to the wires that are all that's left of one of Wolcott Square's antiquated traffic lights - which disappeared, once again.

WBZ shows us a what a beached cement truck looks like after it rolled over around 5 a.m. on the ramp from the Tobin that leads to I-93 south and Storrow Drive. State Police held off recovery efforts so that other drivers could squeeze by in the one remaining lane. The ramp was due to be shut at 9 a.m. to let crews get the truck out of there.
