Victim identified as Curtis Ashford, Jr., 15, of Dorchester.
Boston Police report a teen was shot outside 28 Ellington St. around 7:25 p.m. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

This was a good kid. Very respectable. This child wasn't in high school yet. What happen to the good old days when a kid could have a nice summer without worrying about being gunned down. I pray they catch the person(s). This can not be a headline today and forgotten tomorrow!

Removed any personal responsibility.

As a father of two young boys, I can say with confidence, they will never have to worry about becoming involved in street violence. Simply because as a man, a father and a husband, I’ve made the decision to actively be involved in their lives.
It’s such an easy solution and doesn’t require monetary wealth, just love and time.
These tough guys are so soft they can’t even raise their own kids.
