Boston Police say Yvonne Lewis shot a relative in the head around 12:40 p.m., then was arrested about five hours later in Peabody.
Clive Francis, 49, of Mattapan, was taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police say.
The Globe reports Lewis is a former Boston Police employee.
Police had issued a BOLO - including notices on Twitter - that Lewis had fled in either a red Nissan with Massachusetts plates or a white Lexus with George plates, and that in either case, she was to be considered armed and dangerous.
She is scheduled for arraignment on Monday in West Roxbury Municipal Court.
The victim is Boston's third murder victim in the past three days.
Innocent, etc.

It may be related to various sorts of illegal activity, but it may just be a personal grievance settled in a violently definitive way.
Sad for the family of these two, all ways around.

In the BOLO for the pathfinder, the tags were reported to be a vanity plate - "ON TYME." Not the best getaway vehicle.

I see the walking dead are still in Boston, anon you have no soul you have no heart in fact I think you're a coward, make yourself known. You hide behind your fake name. No one can ever really take any of your comments serious because you hide behind a fake name making ludicrous comments. Honestly I think that you have no life .
Shakespearean.

So brutally sad. Just read the Globe story--he sounds like such a good man and she had just derailed completely. I can't imagine a worse thing to happen to a family.
my prayers go out to you

For change can we please show love and not speculations, your opinions, innuendos, hearsay, what you think, what you believe. Please, let's try to wait for all the facts are presented.
I believe it's important show compassion and humanity instead of all the above. Show love, act of kindness, patience, empathy............
Try understand, in death, all deaths; there are real lives affected here.
Smh at the insensitiveness of this world.

It is sad that she may have fallen to the cracks by lack of mental health awareness and possible drug abuse. Fortunately for meth and heroin users they are changing laws to assist drug abuser's.
