The first protest against the Musk administration outside the Tesla showroom in Dedham, on Feb. 15, had just a handful of demonstrators.
Today's Tesla Takedown had at least a couple hundred people, starting at the Lenscrafter parking lot on the other side of the Legacy Place entrance, stretched past the Hooters and only ended at the further Tesla driveway, the one where Bed, Bath & Beyond used to be.

Note to any attorneys general who might be reading this: The protesters were exercising what are still, at least technically for now, their First Amendment rights. They were peaceful as they held their signs and chanted things such as "Deport Musk! Send him to Mars!" and "Felonies matter! Lock up Trump!"
And they kept clear of Tesla's two driveways, so this guy in a Cybertruck could pull in for servicing or charging or just to commune with fellow owners of rolling raccoon habitats:

Loads of passing motorists honked in support - including one guy in a gray Tesla turning out of Legacy Place. In my time there, I only heard one hater, a woman pulling out of Legacy Place towards 128 who started yelling "Get the fuck out of ..." but I and a couple of protesters standing on the island in the middle of the road didn't get to here where we were supposed to get the fuck out of as she accelerated away.
More protesters:

MA Attorney General?

Has the MA AG been going after protesters recently? In my experience, it's been local police and the county DA.

Because the Massachusetts AG, Andrea Campbell, is busy fighting the federal government and is not threatening to put Tesla protesters in prison.

Sad thing is it doesn't lower prices and get my job back. And I may be speaking for a large population.

Remember when the election was about the price of eggs and getting American jobs back?
Whatever happened with that?

Trump has decided to allow egg imports to increase supply and lower prices. I'm no economist, but it seems like this free trade thing might have some real upsides.

Which dummy is going to sell us eggs when trump is walking around with a stick hitting everyone in the face? Cooperation always works better than bullying in the long term.

... is we had it before Trump got in office and mucking about with tariffs, raising the prices on everything. you don't get to cause or exacerbate a problem, turn around and undo what you did, and then get to claim victory.
Now Trump is shutting out our allies and replacing them with trade with Russia. Russia is the only one benefiting from the trump presidency, but hey, if you have money, invest in Russian stocks

"You just proved my point", especially when said with zero supporting evidence or argument, is the classic line of the weak and pouty red hat. You might as well get the "I am a whiny Trump-loving incel" forehead tattoo and get it over with.

since Musk is the prime destroyer of government services and liberties, and fosters corruption.
His power rests on his wealth, and his wealth rests on the price of Tesla stock. If the protesters force him out of government, that's a win.
That does not apply to individual Tesla owners, who could have bought their car for virtuous reasons.

What is this protest about again? I’m seeing signs like ‘we stand with Ukraine’, ‘stop the war on veterans’. Is this just a general protest for everyone who’s butt hurt right now?
Question, when Musk is forced to implement layoffs at Tesla due to reduced sales, are you going to cheer? I won’t. The reality is you’re not hurting Musk. You’re hurting thousands of American workers

Out on the road today
I saw a No-Musk sticker on a Model S
A little voice inside my head said
That won’t help
Baby that won’t help. (Apologies to DH)
(You’re not doing yourself any favors, you’re just drawing attention the fact you’re still driving it.)
Teslas/EVs are nothing but today’s Indulgences. You can’t buy your way out of the sin of overconsumption.
I’m considering some Tesla owners might not be sinning ….
By Lee
Mon, 03/17/2025 - 1:38pm
… or sinning as much, if they take advantage of the low costs of secondhand Teslas now that no one wants them (apart the Musk worshippers).
They are still road hogging killing machines. But being electric and because buying one doesn’t profit Musk (though it does somewhat bail out the sinful original buyer), might not these secondhand buyers be allowed to go to purgatory rather than straight to hell?
Thoughts?
Nah

First, there's a reason your car has branding on it. It sells more cars. So the fewer Teslas on the road, the less likely someone else is to buy one.
Second, Teslas use camera image recognition for autopilot and it is nowhere near as safe as lidar based forms of autopilot. Just ask Mark Rober: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQJL3htsDyQ
