A Dorchester judge set bail at $50,000 today for a Brockton man at his arraignment on charges he not only had sex with an underage teen but posted video of one of their encounters on OnlyFans - and then refused to take it down until she made more videos for him.
Kharee Louis-Jeune, 33, was formally charged with aggravated rape of a child, trafficking of a person for the purposes of sexual servitude, enticement of a child under 16, extortion, possession of child sexual abuse material and distribution of child sexual abuse material, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office, which added that he was charged with aggravated rape of a child, a more serious charge than rape of a child, because there is more than a 10-year difference in age between him and his alleged victim.
Should he make bail, he would have to remain at home, with GPS monitoring, the DA's office reports. He would also have to stay out of Boston and away from the victim. He would also be barred from any unsupervised contact with anybody else under 18 and would have to stay off social media.
Louis-Jeune was an on-call youth care advocate at the Old Colony YMCA which serves towns south of Boston. According to an Old Colony YMCA job posting, the youth-care advocate is a supervisor at a YMCA residential facility in Brockton that houses kids between 12 and 18 who have been referred there by DYS. He or she is responsible for overseeing security and operations - including the ability to intervene "to prevent a crisis situation" and to restrain "juveniles up to approximately 200 pounds."
He was also a volunteer football coach at Brockton High School, the DA's office says.
According to the DA's office, Louis-Jeune met his victim online in 2019. He thought at first she was older than 18 and they began having sexual relations, but even after learning she was under the Massachusetts age of consent - 16 - continued to have sex with her, prosecutors say. According to the DA's office:
He filmed one of the assaults and shared the video online, including on the site OnlyFans. The victim asked Mr. Louis-Jeune to remove the video from social media sites, but he allegedly stated that he would only do so if the juvenile performed more sexual acts.
The victim ultimately disclosed the abuse and illegal video posted online to Boston Police earlier this year. Detectives assigned to the BPD Crimes Against Children Unit secured a search warrant for the information on the OnlyFans user account that posted the video on the site, which was linked to Mr. Louis-Jeune.
The DA's office did not disclose where the victim lives, but the fact that Louis-Jeune was arraigned in Dorchester court suggests the alleged attacks occurred in Dorchester or Mattapan.
Louis-Jeune returns to court on July 16.
