Two Dorchester men who allegedly used a shotgun and a handgun to hold up the McDonald's at 146 Tremont St.
And then promptly proceed to get themselves arrested. WCVB reports on the holdup shortly after midnight.

Boston Police report they are looking for an armed robber who is grabbing cash out of cash registers at Dunkin' Donuts and Mcdonald's across Dorchester, Roxbury and Mattapan, most recently Wednesday night at the Mass. Ave. McDonald's.
Police say in all six cases under investigation, the common thread has been a black male in his 30s, about 5'8", with a Hispanic, Haitian or Jamaican accent who either orders something or hangs out in the lobby for awhile, then pulls out a gun and either demands cash or jumps over the counter and takes it. The Boston Licensing Board voted today to let the Soldiers Field McDonald's extend its closing time from 11 p.m. until 2 a.m.
The Soldiers Field McDonald's, which already has a 24-hour drive-thru, is seeking permission to keep its dining room open until 2 a.m.
The Boston Licensing Board considers the request at a hearing tomorrow.
