Alonzo Rachel: MASS HYSTERIA: The Coakley-Brown Race Has Surprises the MSM Won't Show You.
Part II.
Patches was there @ Osama Obama's rally, and says:
" ... some work needs to be done and
this president's in the process of doing it
and we need to get Marcia Coakley to help him
to do that."
Elaborate, please

What's your point?

The Ambien™-fogged one thinks her name is "Marcia" and his old man famously called Obama "Osama Obama".

And that's relevant to...?
I mean, you've always been an asshole, in-your-face, Republican here, but that's not the same as an asshole, in-your-face, racist Republican who would reiterate what you blatantly recognize as someone misspeaking a name to do what? Conflate the President with terrorists just because their names are spelled similarly? To what end? Just to be cute?
Do us a favor and elevate your rhetoric. We're not a bunch of moronic teabaggers. There's no reason to act like one here.

Adam, not sure you should let these types of comments here.
I agree in a wealth of comments, but once you go off the deep end and your stuff becomes troll bait worthy, it's time to shut you down.
Dave, you're an idiot. Cherish that vote, because even idiots can have their irrational say.
Agreed re the posts

Adam, not sure what your policy is but I'd love to see UH as a blatant-political -post-free zone.
For once I';d love to be able to read some comments w/o knowing i'll have to weed through all the propaganda from all sides.
Any chance?
Political stuff

In a discussion on a political event (Obama speaking at Northeastern and all that), I'm not sure there is a way to make the discussion "blatant-political-post free." Maybe I should be more active in asking people to stop cursing at each other, though.
On the site as a whole, I haven't covered the race as thoroughly as I could - I figured people who really wanted to immerse themselves in it 24/7 would know how to find mainstream-media coverage, the partisan "group" sites and my favorite, KennedySeat.com (who explains today why the site went dead two days ago - damn Amtrak!), and I could spend more time on stuff the MSM is ignoring (anybody see a story in the Globe or Herald yet about the Kells blaming rap music for violence in Allston?). At the same time, it is a big deal in Massachusetts, so I don't want to ignore it completely.
It's terrible being wishy-washy!
It's ok

I just checked your approval ratings and you're still doing better than Obama.

Your site is one of the last I even look at the comments on.
I'm not opposed to original commentary relevant to the actual stories, even if political.
It's more the spammy, generic ideological stuff, but I guess that's hard to edit or regulate.
It's the boiler plate stuff that is grating. Not even germane to the particualrs of a story.
Just an opportunity to spew and spin.
In any case, thanks for the reply.

I've never in my life been a Republican, nor do I plan to become one, and I really don't care what you do or not do with your scrotum, so you can drop the 'teabag' crap.

You're just an anti-Democrat "independent" with all of the loves of the Tea Party set and all the policy agreement of the Republicans, then?
Please. Do tell what ideology you tend to coincide with that somehow distinguishes itself from the Republicans. Suldog is an Independent/Libertarian, sir. You are no Suldog.

Hmm, Kaz, you missed the point. It was Teddy Kennedy who mangled Obama's name. We're just amused at Democrats inability to know their own candidates' names.
Your hysterical name-calling in response is, well, hysterical.
