Who says nobody read the Globe anymore? Our own John Keith took a snapshot of the Lawn on D late yesterday afternoon, the day after Globe writer Christopher Muther fretted that the new outdoor dining at the Lawn on D is basically a Covid-19 breeding ground.

WHDH reports an Attleboro man is recovering from serious head injuries caused when one of those large Lawn on D swings collapsed, sending a metal support pole came crashing down on his head.

V took in the pumpkin festival on the Lawn on D in South Boston tonight.

Ecco Pierce carved the visage with his "super handy assistant," Ted Lynch. Pierce reports this year's event was amazingly larger than last year's - he reports people waited in line for three hours for a pumpkin to carve for the flaming pumpkin wall, which V videoed: Read more.
