Boston Restaurant Talk reports that the Wahlburgers in the new wing of the South Bay mall has closed down. Over in the original wing of the mall, meanwhile, an Applebee's and an Olive Garden remain open.

Grillo's Pickles, started by a man who sold pickles from a cart outside the Park Street T stop, yesterday sued Wahlburgers over the competing pickles the burger chain now sells, alleging they have lying labels because they are not preservative free and because they might be based on Grillo's 100-year-old secret family pickle recipe. WTVD reports a Walhburgers in downtown Raleigh, NC lasted just seven months before it was forced to shut down for lack of business.
The property manager told ABC11 they are changing the locks on the doors of Wahlburgers. ... Early buzz surrounding the restaurant's first North Carolina location appeared to fade by the time the location finally opened.
