Live Boston reports that a body was found in a movie trailer at a BCEC parking lot on Cypher Street behind the convention center around 5:30 a.m.

The trailers are possibly for "Spirited," a musical version of "A Christmas Carol" being filmed downtown.

Staffers at Boston Hope, the 1,000-bed field hospital set up in a week in April to handle a surge of Covid-19 patients, cheered and clapped yesterday as the hospital's last three patients were discharged. Being Boston, of course, they also sang "Sweet Caroline" for one. Read more.

WBUR reports Gov. Baker announced today that with Covid-19 hospitalization numbers in the area continuing to decrease, the field hospital's no longer needed. But he added that it will stay in place through the end of the summer, just in case.

ACE Comic Con announced tonight it's calling off its convention, which had been scheduled to open March 20 at the South Boston convention center over Covid-19 concerns. The company says it is trying to schedule a new convention sometime this fall.

Some 32,000 attendees had been expected.

The New England Cannabis Convention announced today that it still plans to open on March 20 at the Hynes Convention Center, while the ACE Comic Convention said it is also still planning to open on March 20, at the South Boston convention center - but don't even think of hugging anybody once inside.
