The developer behind the 23-acre Seaport Square project in the Seaport says it will soon file plans to redevelop a total of eight acres around Fenway Park - including a deck over the Massachusetts Turnpike - that will include eight new buildings with offices, residential space, restaurants and stores. Boston Police report they are looking for a man they say ran up to a woman standing outside the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute on Jimmy Fund Way and punched her in the right side of her head, around 10 a.m. on Monday. Read more.

The Zoning Board of Appeals yesterday approved pot shops proposed for Brookline Avenue in the Fenway and Hyde Square in Jamaica Plain.

The rulings mean the applicants can now go to the state Cannabis Control Commission to seek a license to open. Read more.

Ron Newman was among the bicyclists who attended the unveiling of of Boston's latest ghost bike, to honor Paula Sharaga, 69, a Cambridge resident and Brookline librarian, who died in a crash with a cement truck at Brookline Avenue and Park Drive on Feb. 15. Read more.

State Police have identified the woman killed in a crash with a truck at Park Drive and Brookline Avenue yesterday as Paula Sharaga, 69, of Cambridge.

State Police report a pedestrian suffered "serious injury" in the crash at Brookline Avenue and Park Drive. NECN reports the bicyclist, a woman, died.

Boston Police report arresting Leonard Payne, 54, of Hyde Park on charges he held up two employees inside the Cask 'n Flagon on Brookline Avenue and fired his gun before fleeing. Read more.

A Brookline Avenue bar say it's fired its security firm after an April incident in which two plainclothes Boston police detectives showed up for a snap inspection and one of the security workers got on the radio to announce a "Code Blue." Read more.

Fenway flooding

The roads around the Landmark Center are a mess this morning becuase of the flooding that Lindy captured around 6:30 a.m. She advised:

Avoid the area if you can. I was on foot so not bad but traffic/public trans is AWFUL
