September 10, 2008 – As school systems cope with higher costs for food and fuel, Project Bread, Massachusetts’ leading antihunger organization, provides a new Better Lunch Toolkit for food service directors. The Better Lunch Toolkit ensures school meals are leaner, leafier, and more colorfully nutritious.
Guests will be served blues-inspired hors d’oeuvres created by Azure’s nationally recognized Executive Chef, Robert Fathman and specialty drinks made with Reyka Vodka. The party will feature blues by Stretch and a raffle for several prizes, including a grand prize chef's tasting dinner for 6 at Azure. Guests are encouraged to wear blue, and there will be prizes for the best blue attire!
Tickets are $50 per person. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Community Servings. The funds raised from the sale of each ticket will provide two weeks worth of meals for a Community Servings client.
