Northeastern University, meanwhile, reports Customs and Border Patrol has refused to tell it why agents blocked one of its Iranian students from leaving Logan and then put him on a plane out of the country 30 minutes after a judge ordered them not to.

UPDATE: Removal stayed for 48 hours, although he remains in CBP custody; hearing in federal court tomorrow morning.

Mohammad Shahab Dehghani Hossein Abadi, who got a visa from the State Department a week ago so he could fly her to start as a freshman in an economics program at Northeastern, is now being held at Logan's Terminal E, where Customs and Border Patrol wants to put him on a flight back out of the country. WCVB reports a Northeastern student from Boston has been diagnosed with measles. The story provides a list of places where the student might have spread the virus to people not protected by vaccination.

Suffolk County District Attorney Rachael Rollins confirmed today that a West Roxbury woman killed her young children and then herself at the Renaissance parking garage near Ruggles station yesterday afternoon. Read more.

Scott Eisen reports the children, found at the bottom of the Renaissance garage off Columbus Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard, were taken to local hospitals, where they were declared dead. The woman was taken to a local hospital, where she was declared dead as well. Read more.

Northeastern University and American Campus Communities of Austin, TX this week filed plans with the BPDA for a 26-story building that would include 21 floors of dorm space atop five floors of academic and office space - and that would let the school sell off other dorm buildings to be turned into tax-generating rental apartments or condos. Northeastern University has filed plans with the BPDA for a new eight-story science building next to the new science building it opened on Columbus Avenue in 2017. Read more.

Northeastern University reports its entire campus has been officially designated an arboretum by ArbNet, which, of course, has a formal accreditation program for arboreta, which is a word we'll have to get used to now that Boston has at least two of them. Read more.

The Huntington News reports Northeastern University will soon file plans with the BPDA to build a 350,000-square-foot Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex on Columbus Avenue.

The building, the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex II, will be just up the street from the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex the university just recently finished building.

The Huntington News reports on a protest aimed at getting Northeastern to increase its voluntary payments in lieu of taxes.

Boston has long asked non-profits to kick in 25% of what they would pay in property taxes if their property were commercial instead of non-profit. Northeastern has always been on the low side of PILOT payments, but says it more than makes up for it in other things, such as annual scholarships for Boston residents attending Northeastern - and the $100 million it put into renovating a city playground (in a statement, the university did not mention that that money also gave it rights to use the playground).

News @ Northeastern reports on a new pedestrian bridge dropped into place (very, very carefully) over the Northeast Corridor and Orange Line train tracks over the weekend to connect the Fenway and Roxbury parts of the Northeastern campus. It took a week just to assemble the crane that would put the bridge in place.

The Huntington News reports a well meaning Northeastern student gave $60 to a guy at Ruggles who said he needed to get back to New Hampshire. Campus police caught up with him and escorted him off campus.

Seems Northeastern President Joseph Aoun lives on Beacon Street at Joy and protesters are trying to occupy it to protest a research contract ICE has with Northeastern.

Beacon is currently shut between Joy and Park.
