The MBTA is currently running shuttle buses between Newton Highlands and Cleveland Circle because a trolley on the Riverside Line, which was about to push a dead trolley onto a siding somehow snapped an overhead power line. Harry Grillo posted photos and an account of the issue.

Around 9:15 p.m., Transit Police report. The man, hit on the outbound side, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, police say, adding that foul play is not suspected.
