Dan Meade reports he was in front of Faneuil Hall around 6:45 p.m. today when a large group of motorcycles came roaring up:

They came down Devonshire, held up traffic at the crossing at Congress to keep the pack together, and then about 100 motorcycles stopped in front of Fanueil Hall and smokescreened the whole block.

Trash atop a Dig box on Congress Street

Cynthia Donovan reports that now that people are once again using the tops of news boxes to avoid the onerous task of taking their lunch detritus back to their office trash cans, now that the city has removed all the BigBelly trash containers along Congress Street on the South Boston side of Fort Point Channel. Sounds like a district in need of some innovation when it comes to trash.

Two exotic cars parked at a hydrant

An irate citizen complains about where some valet is parking the more exotic cars on Congress Street near the Children's Museum:

Four hours ago it was a Masserati parked in front of the hydrant. Now it's a vintage Caddie and Bentley. Are you going to do something about this valet or do special cars get special treatment? PLEASE!!

Earlier:
This is what happens to the cars of morons who park in front of hydrants.
Another reason not to park in front of a hydrant.
