Boston Police report arresting a 16-year-old and a 15-year-old on charges they used flare guns in an argument across the street from the Forest Hills T stop last night.
Police say officers responded to Tower and Washington streets around 8:45 p.m. on a report of a disturbance:
The victim stated that during the verbal confrontation, both suspects indicated that they were in possession of firearms. Officers then frisked the suspects at which time they safely recovered loaded marine use signal launchers, commonly referred to as flare guns, from both males. The suspects were then placed in custody without incident.
The two will be arraigned in West Roxbury Municipal Court on charges of being delinquent for assault by means of a dangerous weapon and unlawfully carrying a dangerous weapon, police say.
