Mueller hasn't been fired, yet, but the protest is on

Months ago, the progressive group MoveOn set up a rapid-fire response protest plan to deal with the possible firing of Robert Mueller or Rod Rosenstein. Although neither has happened, Sessions is gone and Rosenstein is no longer in charge of Mueller and so the group has activated the plan, which includes a protest at 5 p.m. today - Thursday - on the Common across from the State House. that there is protest. very unfortunate the state of the republican party. remember that "never Trump" shit?

all things considered, nothing has ever befouled the White House more than this current scum and all his apologists, and that's saying something when you consider the white house has allowed slavery and genocide. now though, they've come to kill the very ideals the whole show is built on.

the triumph of the concrete.

What are we supposed to

What are we supposed to remember about that "never Trump" shit?

The "never Trump" people are almost without fail neoconservatives trying to claw their way back to respectability (after having lost it with that trillion dollar Iraq misadventure). And unfortunately the Left is giving them what they want.

Any enemy of Trump is my ally

Sorry, but that's the single biggest political imperative right now, and if we are going to successfully dispose of him, we'll need to compromise on other issues.

MoveOn

By on

I find it funny that the origin of MoveOn was to censure President Clinton rather than impeach him, and now they prefer the opposite with Trump.

Why is that funny?

By on

I would say that a consensual blow job is a lot different in severity than collusion with Russians, assaults on the constitution and emoluments.

I would hope that you can see that distinction

Move-On should realize, however, that impeaching

By on

Donald Trump, as horrible a president that he's proved himself to be, is not the way to go. In the event that Donald Trump did get impeached....who would we end up with as POTUS? Mike Pence, that's who--and he'd be an even more dangerous president than Trump, because he's an extremely religious right-wing ideologue who has the capacity to really take the United States, as a whole, over the cliff. Sure, he's somewhat saner than Trump, but that doesn't mean that Mike Pence won't pose a danger to this country.

Cold Civil War

The Press Secretary of the President of the United States of America, the most powerful nation in the history of all mankind, just promoted and circulated a doctored video in order to justify their demonizing of our free press.

Our bowtied Beacon Hill GOP neighbors may think it's cute to "own the libs" but we are in deep, deep, trouble.

We must be prepared for Trump's own personal Reichstag as the walls close in on his crime family.

If you have or know teens or young adults now is the time to grab them by the ears and teach them. Explain what 1984 was about and how none of this is normal.

God save us.

Anybody who's working with

By on

Anybody who's working with Gen-Z kids right now knows they're in way better shape, morally, than say, the Fox-watching Boomers. Watching a 14 year old explain why capitalism has ethically corrupted our government is a surreal, but reassuring experience. Unfortunately, with the climate apocalypse coming in about a decade, they won't have much of a chance to do anything about it.

What are we supposed to do?

By on

How about stop being a silly fool and pick the worst emergency to deal with?
This is not about right/left identity you moron--go directly back to the sand box.

If the Mueller report does not come to light because it is prevented by this criminal investigation there will be nobody left to "embrace" you stupid baby, because we will likely lose the rule of law.

Fuck, for a small town.......

Trigger alert!
It is being reported that SCJ Ginsburg has taken a bad fall and fractured 3 ribs.
Hang on you guys.

Pre planned protests, eh?

By on

I don't know if you really believe the hysteria you're helping to spread, but I'd like to know how you plan to square the circle of claiming that all these protests are organic when here you are telling us all about pre planned demonstrations.

News flash:

By on

All effective protests are pre-planned. That doesn't mean they can't be organic (but I don't really know what you're dogwhistling at by calling them inorganic here anyway).

It's Roman.

We're less talking about dog-whistling, and more talking about those mosquito-pitched-humming devices that're supposed to drive teenagers away. Except instead of teenagers, it's anyone with a high school diploma.

Hysteria

That would be obsessing at 10,000 baud over things that could theoretically happen maybe sort of happen whatiff in locker rooms that you never enter yourself.

Over and over and over again.

It is not vigilance against clear efforts to subvert the constitution - a document you very little understand and refuse to accept.
