The Globe reports both houses of the state legislature today approved a measure to ban upskirting, the day after the Supreme Judicial Court ruled current state law does not prohibit it.
Meanwhile, the MA bill to increase the minimum wage in the Commonwealth languishes in the House of Representatives.
Because government price fixing works so well and has no unintended consequences.
It would be nice if all opponents of raising the minimum wage were as honest as you. Minimum wage? There should be no minimum at all! The invisible hand of the free market will sort it all out. Never mind that people are still smarting from the punch in the balls the invisible hand gave them in the financial crash.
Yes, because the government had no involvement in the financial crash, right?
Making it illegal for perverts to indecently photograph the private areas of girls and women is a priority! I don't know any man or woman who thinks upskirting should be legal. It's a no-brainer and and hopefully will become law this afternoon. Perhaps you should be more concerned with elected officials wasting everyone's time by deciding the state spice or the state sandwich as opposed to this very worthy issue. Good luck to you.

I don't know the bill number, but it has passed both houses and is headed to the Governor's desk, according to a legislative aide buddy of mine.
And, yes, this particular legislator is on the minimum wage bill ... call your state legiscritters and get on 'em too!
