Trash at CVS on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain

Over the past three weeks, a disgusted citizen has filed five separate 311 complaints about trash in the parking lot of the CVS on Centre Street at South Huntington Avenue in Jamaica Plain. And the city has closed each complaint with a note that a ticket has been issued "for loose trash and debris."

A concerned citizen filed a 311 report this morning about a box of peaches just sitting there on Hereford Street, between Newbury and Comm. Ave. The city has marked the complaint "closed," adding, "Resolved. Fruit picked up." No word if Public Works will be making some peach cobbler now.

Clean energy "salesman" harassing myself and neighbors. They are calling the intercom multiple times a day, demanding entry, demanding to see energy bill, sneaking in security door and knocking on people's doors.

Downtown turkey

A citizen filed a 311 report this afternoon that consists of a picture of a round turkey at State and Kilby streets and a single word, "turkey," in case people at 311 can't tell what they're looking at, so we're not really sure if this is a complaint, admiration or what, let alone what they want the city to do about it, or if they had to suddenly hit the Submit button before they could add more because the turkey suddenly began rolling at them like a bowling ball that really wants a strike.
