Three-alarm fire displaces 11 in Dorchester

The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded to 36 Ridgewood St. around 1:15 a.m. for what turned into a three-alarm fire.

Some 11 residents of the triple decker were displaced, but none were injured, the department says.

The cause of the fire, which caused an estimated $400,000 in damage, is under investigation, the department says.
