Fresh from crushing a bunch of Democrats in the casino battle, here's Bill Weld introducing Charlie Baker's economic advisors, bipartisan, natch, who gave us this plan (which Weld himself probably wrote one afternoon before taking a refreshing dip in the Charles and then having a chat with Mo Cowan).
The mayor of Quincy denies he endorsed Baker just to get back at Coakley.
Coakley unwraps her own plan to help low-income families pay for early-childhood education.
Mayors from way down south (you know, like Fall River) traveled up to South Station to make the case for their $2-billion+ commuter-rail plan before administrations change in January.

$2b would be better spent on a red/blue connector with an extension to Lynn and green line signal replacement/surface priority.

Did Democrats nominate Martha Coakley again??
I just don't get it. She is about as inspiring as a box of rocks.
And she is going to lose all over again.
It's crazy

Because a lot of independents and republicans voted for Grossman in order to get her off the ballot.
I'm OK with her losing

If Coakley hadn't lost to Scott Brown, Elizabeth Warren wouldn't have had the opportunity to send him and his stupid truck packing. Instead of having a progressive in the Senate we'd have yet another lukewarm Democrat.
I can't wait to which infinitely better candidate emerges from the ashes of yet another Coakley loss.

Which nose holders will be the first to toss purity under the carpet to give way to the more simple win instinct?
And then there is the ground work.
