Clinton pushes for Lynch, heads off to big wedding: Part of a set of photos by Dave Parsons.
Mike Ball was at the Ironworkers Hall in Southie today:
... You'd think the rally was for Clinton and Lynch was brought in to fluff the crowd for him. Lynch praised Clinton's presidency mightily and repeatedly, then Bill took over and did the same. He eventually got back around to saying how important it was to keep Lynch in office. ...
Also, state Rep. Marty Walsh of Dorchester attacked Lynch's primary opponent, Mac D'Alessandro, by making the remarkable claim that Republicans never run against each other. Apparently, Marty hasn't gotten south of the Neponset recently.

or they wouldn't have brought him up - You never elevate an inferior opponent by talking about them when they have no chance. MAC may give Lynch a run for his money, especially if Lynch has lost the unions.

Actually, Clinton was in town for a paid speaking gig at a financial conference at the convention center, this was just killing two birds with one stone since he was already here.

Lynch unconditionally supported the Iraq war, which cost the lives of over 4 thousands soldiers, he believes in legislating morality and opposes a woman's right to choose for herself what best to do with their bodies, he chose to oppose health care out of cowardice (his fear being out flanked by Scott Brown when he runs against him in '12), and chose to do nothing with a broken health care system. These are the reasons I won't vote for Lynch in the primary and why I won't vote for him in the general election.
